NOAH SOROTA
COMPOSER
01 about
Noah Sorota is a composer, conductor, and orchestrator whose music brings story, character, and emotion to life.
With credits spanning motion picture and television, Noah has developed a distinctive cinematic voice rooted in melody, orchestral storytelling, and a deep instinct for character. His work includes Resident Alien, Falling Skies, Reverie, The American Southwest, Amazing Stories, and Deep in the Heart.
A versatile musician equally at home behind the orchestra and in the recording studio, Noah has conducted and recorded at some of the world’s most renowned scoring stages, including Abbey Road Studios, Warner Bros., Sony, and Fox. His work as a violinist and orchestrator has brought him to major productions including Sherlock Holmes, The Dark Knight, Game of Thrones, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Beyond film and television, Noah’s music extends into the world of cultural storytelling. His score for The American Story, a permanent exhibition at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., reflects his ability to create music that connects audiences with history on a deeply emotional and human level.
Noah’s approach to scoring is ultimately about one thing: serving the story. Whether building a sweeping orchestral world or finding the emotional thread in a single scene, he creates music designed not simply to accompany an image, but to become part of the audience’s experience of it.
Based in Los Angeles, Noah continues to compose, conduct, and collaborate across film, television, and the concert hall.
